My Story
Hello! I'm Geeth Maduranga, a Product Designer based in sunny Sri Lanka. I kicked off my design journey in late 2015 by diving into online freelancing, working on over 150 design projects and exploring my creative side.
In 2017, I transitioned into the field of UI/UX design, and up until the end of 2020, I worked as a UI/UX engineer for local companies. However, at the beginning of 2021, I made the decision to shift my focus and began collaborating with businesses and companies, primarily in the US and UK.
Since then, my journey has involved a mix of freelancing with individual clients and contributing to companies as a contract-based UI/UX designer, all done remotely. This experience has been a blast, allowing me to be part of incredible projects, especially in London, UK. I've had the pleasure of connecting with entrepreneurs, content creators, directors, and amazing designers from all corners of
the globe.

In the discovery phase, I focus on truly understanding the client’s goals, their users, and the challenges they are trying to solve. This includes market and competitor research, along with user interviews, to uncover real insights that guide the direction of the product.

With those insights in place, I move into the design phase. I create wireframes and interactive prototypes to map out the user journey and shape a clear, intuitive experience. Throughout this stage, I work closely with stakeholders, gathering feedback and validating ideas through usability testing.
